Liberation Community Finance Community Girl Project

Welcome to the Liberation Community Girl Project, an initiative aiming at empowering and educating the girl child. This program offers a unique opportunity for young girls in the following categories: Those struggling with school fees (underprivileged) Those who dropped out of school due to financial constraints Those who had been forced into early marriages Those who had got pregnant and lost studying opportunities. Our target is to educate 1,000 girls within the next 3 years, starting from those in Primary 1 to Senior Six. We shall provide this education through partner schools that currently include St. Juliana Schools and St. Mark schools Kayunga. These high performing schools agreed to offer half bursaries to the girls in our communities. We are passionate at providing Sustainable Quality Education (SDG 4) using partners to see that no one is left behind. We understand that the future relies on quality education for all. So we look out for the least privileged and those that have been left behind to empower them. Our initial pilot area is Eastern Uganda, where some of the most of the vulnerable girls reside. In a world where basic education transforms society, these are far from that. As Liberation, it is thus our inclusive strategy to bring them on board and give them a future that circumstances could not afford them. So by submitting a request to join this program, we anticipate that you are financially challenged and would be interested in furthering your education.
